Daniel Mitchell

Monk O'Neill

Daniel is a graduate of Drama Centre London with more than four decades of professional theatre experience. His distinguished career in the UK includes major productions such as Sweeney Todd, Henry IV Parts I & II, and King Lear.

In Australia, he has appeared extensively on Sydney stages, including performances with Ensemble Theatre in Rain Man and Tuesdays with Morrie, as well as work at Belvoir St Theatre and the Sydney Opera House.

A multiple recipient of the Norman Kessel Memorial Award, Daniel has also shared the stage with his father, the late Warren Mitchell, in Visiting Mr Green and The Price.

In recent years, he has captivated Blue Mountains audiences in David Harrower’s Blackbird, David Auburn’s Proof, and his own acclaimed solo work The Shadow of Fame, which will be presented at Ensemble Theatre this August.

Tony Knight

Director

Tony Knight was educated at Sydney Grammar School and trained at Drama Centre London, renowned for producing some of the world’s most respected actors.

 

He brings decades of experience as a director, acting teacher and academic, with a career spanning professional theatre, international education and advanced research.

Tony has held senior leadership roles in actor training, including Program Leader of the Bachelor of Musical Theatre (Honours) at LaSalle College of the Arts in Singapore, where he developed and implemented a new curriculum. He later served as Head of Acting at Australia’s National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA), training many of Australia’s most celebrated national and international performers.

He has taught, directed and lectured internationally across Australia, the USA, Japan, Romania, Singapore and Tonga, and has presented at numerous national and international conferences. Now based in Adelaide, Tony continues to freelance as a director and teacher while completing his PhD on Richard Burbage and the art of Shakespearean personation.

Paulina Kelly

Artistic Director/Producer

Paulina Kelly is a Blue Mountains–based theatre director, creative producer, and Artistic Director of Four Shadows Productions, a company founded in 2023 to bring professional, actor-led theatre to the region.

She has performed at venues including Griffin Theatre, PACT, The Performance Space, and the Sydney Opera House. 

Her directing credits include The Peach Season (2022), Blackbird by David Harrower (★★★★½, ArtsHub), Proof by David Auburn, and the development premiere of Daniel Mitchell’s solo work P.S. Where is Home?, which will be presented in 2026 at Ensemble Theatre as The Shadow of Fame.

Paulina is deeply committed to supporting local artists while building sustainable pathways for professional theatre in the Blue Mountains. Her long-term vision is to establish the region as a recognised centre for high-quality independent theatre, allowing audiences and artists alike to experience ambitious work without leaving the Mountains.

She is also the recipient of the Best Short Story Award at the 2008 Monaco Film Festival.

Stefanie Dellzeit

Assistant Director/Stage Manager

Stefanie Dellzeit is a Sydney-based actor, writer, and emerging director. She trained at the Academy of Film, Theatre and Television (AFTT), graduating with an Advanced Diploma in Screen and Media (Acting), where she developed a strong foundation in performance across stage and screen.

Her theatre credits include Clinchfield by Caleb Lewis and Shakespeare’s The Two Gentlemen of Verona. Stefanie’s creative practice is driven by a deep interest in human behaviour, truth, and contemporary storytelling. Alongside her acting work, she has written and produced original stage work, including Stenosis. 

Four Shadows Productions is delighted to welcome Stefanie Dellzeit into the company with the intention of supporting her development as a director in future productions, recognising her strong creative instincts, collaborative approach, and emerging leadership within the rehearsal room.
