Ashleigh Hermann
Catherine
Ashleigh Hermann is a performer whose work spans across theatre, musical theatre and film. A graduate of Wesley Institute and the Los Angeles Performing Arts Conservatory, she is building a dynamic career on bold storytelling.
Her screen and stage career includes the award-winning short film A Tea Party for Sad People (2019) and acclaimed theatre productions such as Blackbird (2024), Cut (2019), and A Midsummer Night’s Dream (2024). She has worked closely with the Australian Shakespeare Company, including work in their Education Program, musical theatre (Alice in Wonderland [2025], Tinkerbell and the Dream Fairies [2025]), and mainstage Shakespeare productions.
Jake Fryer-Hornsby
Hal
Jake trained as an actor at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts as part of the Acting BA class of 2017. Jake’s theatre credits include The Glass Menagerie (Black Swan STC 2022) As You Like it, Henry V (Lakespeare 2022/2024), Videotape (KXT 2021), Wind in The Willows (2018/2020) and most recently Macbeth (Sport for Jove 2025). His film and TV credits include Misery and Other Choices (Unreleased), Halim for which he won the Channel Nine award for Best Actor, and The Surfer (2024) which was selected as part of the Cannes Film Festival 2024. He toured around Australia performing Shakespeare in repertory as part of The Players for Bell Shakespeare 2019/2021. Jake has been a proud member of MEAA since 2017.


Roslyn Hicks
Claire
Roslyn completed her BCA (Drama Performance) in 2004. Over the two decades since then, she has taken on a wide variety of roles from puppeteering in primary schools, to outdoor Shakespeare, to pantomimes, to improvisational murder mystery parties. Her most recent theatrical credits include playing Millicent Stanley (the first female elected member of Australian parliament) at the 2024 bicentenary event. In 2024 she also appeared in The Magician's Nephew with Joining the Dots Theatre, and as Aunt Reed in Jane Eyre for Genesian Theatre. In 2025 she filmed the webseries River Tap That, portrayed Inie Holmes (wife of murdered Reginald Holmes) in the Shark Arm Case with Deadhouse Productions, and is currently preparing for Night Mother as part of the Sydney Fringe Festival. She recently started working as puppeteer with Camp Quality. She is thrilled to be part of this production of Proof.
Daniel Mitchell
Robert
Daniel, a Drama Centre London graduate, has over four decades of professional theatre experience. His extensive credits in England include Sweeney Todd, Henry IV Part 1&2, and King Lear. In Australia, he has performed with Sydney’s Ensemble Theatre in productions like Rain Man and Tuesday’s with Morrie, and on stages at Belvoir St Theatre and The Opera House.
A multiple Norman Kessel Memorial Award winner, he has shared the stage with his father, Warren Mitchell, in Visiting Mr. Green and The Price.
Last year, he captivated audiences in David Harrower’s ‘Blackbird.’
